At the Circulation Desk you can:
• Rent movies (VHS or DVD)
• Rent Laptops (up to 4 hours)
• Rent Flip Cameras, headphones, calculators, dry-erase materials, whiteboards, etc
• Pick up books and/or information that are on reserve for a certain teacher
• Pick up a key for a reserved room
• Pick up and/or order a book from another library
• Fax (send and receive) for 25 cents a page
• Put money on your Gonzaga ID card to use printers (5 cents a page)
o Cannot use flex: must use cash, coins, or checks
How to put a book on hold:
1) Go to http://www.gonzaga.edu/Academics/Libraries/Foley-Library/
2) Enter a book title in the catalogue quick search
3) Click the book you want
4) Click “make a request”
5) Enter your Gonzaga ID number and your last name
6) Click “hold”
7) Reenter your Gonzaga ID number
8) Click “submit”
*You can put books on hold from your dorm room or the library
*Books are held for approximately 1 week

Class Matters
This article explains what one library in Indiana is doing to help the unemployed in this current recession find another job through a series of job clinics. One theme from Class Matters was the importance human capital (employability, education, etc.) played in class divisions, the before mentioned article discusses a library that seeks to empower unemployed men and women in this current recession, through a series of job clinics held at an Indiana library. The job clinics discuss such issues as how to market one’s self, create a resume, manage debt and even prepare cheap, wholesome meals. This library is attempting to give people, especially the unemployed, the resources to improve their situation through better job skills.
