Librarians Promote Reading to Children
This article is about a book drive in Bowling Green, KY that was held for children five years or older. Reading is being promoted to kids from all different backgrounds. Librarians provide these services because some children have never seen a book, or they don’t own a book of their own. Children who are literate will be able to read for the rest of their lives, and librarians provide these services so that children will be able to succeed in schooling.
Library
We found out how to contact a librarian. There are two chats that we can use. One is a 24 hour chat with all Jesuit school librarians and the other one is just to contact a Gonzaga librarian over IMLibrarian. There are also phone numbers and emails that you can call to find out what you are looking for. If you need any phone numbers you can go to Contact a Librarian on the Gonzaga Foley Library Website.
Then we found out how to print from the library. First you have to make sure that you have money on your ID card. It is .5 cents for black and white and .25 cents for color printing. You have to use a computer from the library, not on your laptop. You bring up the document on the computer, Fileà Print. After you press print you can choose black and white, color, and floor. Then go to the printer you printed to, swipe your ID card, select a job, and then print!
The popular book section is right next to the Reference Center.
