Foley Center Fling Critique

DREAM – Where dreams really do come true!  They supplied us with mini-candies.  DREAM is located on the second floor of Foley.

Special Collections – Located on the 3rd floor of the Foley Library.  This area included a silent study area.  It is well decorated and peaceful for silent study.  The one disappointment is that there is no sign of the Magna Carta and/or Constitution.

Reference Desk – They gave us a free pen!  They can answer pretty much all of your library questions.  They are all knowing and all powerful.  As MacGregor says, “The Reference Desk is the COG of the library.”

Circulation – They are in charge of keeping of books and movies checked out.  It is located right across from the reference.

Writing Center – They are there to help students edit essays and projects located on the first floor.

ITS – They gave us candy bars.  ITS offers technology help to the students.

Periodicals – They gave us stress/magic 8 balls.  It is located right next to the ITS table.

We suggest that next year music be played in the main lobby and possibly adding a scavenger hunt may get more students involved.  And DANCING!
