The EBSCO databases are once again capable of exporting directly to RefWorks.
Yeah!

RefWorks is working again. This is great news for the RefWorks regular users! If you have not tried RefWorks, you will be amazed at how easy it makes your citations and organizes your research!

RefWorks is having technical difficulties, but hopes to be back up in the next hour. It is currently 9:30, Tuesday Nov 3.

Illiad is still the same great program it was, but it has a new address. If you have a bookmark or shortcut to ILLiad, you will need to update it. The login page for ILLiad is now at: http://gonzaga.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/logon.html

Would you use the Foley library during the extra two hours if it was open until 2am instead of midnight?

ILLiad will be unavailable the evening of Wednesday October 14^th through Thursday October 15^th while the database is moved to a new server.  Please keep in mind PDF’s that have been posted will be unavailable during this time, so please print or save necessary files to your computer.  All data will be restored as soon as the migration is complete.  We hope to minimize downtime and apologize for any inconvenience.  For questions, please call Anji Mertens, 313-6534.

40 Pathway classes will be experiencing the Foley Center Library and documenting it by blogging and creating films. Each class will focus on a different service of the library. One group of students will research the service and post all the information they find on the blog. Another group of students will creat a video with a Flip camera that highlights the service in a creative way. And the rest of the students will connect librarians with Class Matters and research how libraries help with class struggles. These students are amazing and have produced great pages! All of them are available under the Pathways tab of this blog. Great job Pathways!

Foley Center invites all Gonzaga students, staff and faculty to the ninth annual Foley Fling. It’s a fun and fast way to see all the services available in Foley and get a free Italian soda plus other give aways.

If you have been around Gonzaga University before what would you tell the incoming freshmen about the Foley Center? Maybe that it is a great place to get away from the dorm noise to study? How about how helpful the librarians are?
